Yoga Point was started in the Netherlands in 2007. It started in a high school building in Leidsche Rijn (Utrecht) and from there it went to a different location and not much later it grew and became a success.
Before Yoga Point started in the Netherlands the yoga schools were expensive and Yoga Point attracted a lot of younger people because it was more affordable. The slogan was always: Yoga for everyone, which was the core mission of the company.
Yogapoint expanded to more Yoga Point studio’s in Utrecht and it became a franchise concept.
Although it always kept better prices than 99% of the other yogastudio’s in the Netherlands, the prices did get higher and the original idea was a bit lost. This was only natural because there were more people involved and there was always a discussion about the prices.
